I literally bribed Kiki with SODA (gasp!). I know, I know, (almost) 2 year olds shouldn't have soda, but when I told her if I could "do" her hair and take some pictures I'd give her soda, she cooperated! So a cup of cream soda was all hers!
I've been itching to challenge myself lately, feeling antsy while waiting for my next scheduled sessions. New equipment would definitely be a solution, but that's not in the budget right now with the new house, so I'm trying to challenge myself in different ways. I'm working on my exposure with backlighting, going to try using a reflector, and am ordering some seamless paper for backdrops (still all natural light of course!). Look for some new stuff from me in the weeks to come!
This is a classic shot we've done of all of our kids around 3-3.5 months but it took Felicity a little longer to get that head up! So big!

Wednesday night Felicity stopped breathing, turned blue, and we had to call 911. We spent 24 hours in the hospital having a billion tests done. All of her tests were normal so we have no answers yet, but our baby is doing just fine now. We got home last night and I just had to take pictures of her today because I'm so thankful she's here and want to revel in every little part of her, down to her sweet toes...
My Felicity turned 4 months Saturday, I can't believe it! I haven't done naked shots in a while and want to capture her at this age so I did some nakey shots on my bed, been wanting to try out the light in there!
Ally just loves holding Felicity every morning in between getting ready for school. She wants to move her around and hold her many different positions which I'm not crazy about! 
That's what I hear pretty much a zillion times a day now from my Terrible-Two-To-Be! Man she's wearing me out! But she's still sweet and lovable. I chased her around for a few minutes this morning (dirty face/shirt and all)...
My office in the new house has 3 huge windows and the wonderful natural light makes me want to grab my camera all the time now! These are lazy (between unpacking) Sunday morning pics of my thumbsucker. I was playing around taking pictures of her from above her head.
